2022 Partnerships: Collaborations and Knowledge Transfer at UCI MRSEC (CCAM)
- UCI MRSEC continues to push forward for materials discoveries and innovations through collaborations and partnerships.
- Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) consist of 20 notable individuals from diverse, cutting-edge technology sectors was established. The board provides feedback and proposes new directions for research within the Center and mentors graduate students and postdocs with transition to professional careers.
- Collaborations with national laboratories including Idaho National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory have promoted the research activities within the Center.
- Partnerships with companies including Buehler, Olympus, Verder Scientific, Arcast, VJT, and DensSolutions have enhanced research capabilities for discoveries and development of novel materials.
- There have been active international collaborations with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology through Prof. Hahn and Dr. Ivanisenko for synthesis, processing, and characterization of various complex concentrated alloys.
