CCAM Commitment to Diversity

Center for Complex and Active Materials aims to train leaders to innovate and effectively advocate for science an diversity, train students for future high-tech jobs in industry, national laboratories, and academia, and engage and recruit diverse students across the U.S. in STEM via research-based formalized programs. CCAM incorporates the philosophy of engagement (to increase interest, motivation, and awareness of STEM careers), capacity (cultivation of STEM skills), and continuity (continued engagement and tracking) to support advancement in STEM careers.
