We are excited to announce that Prof. Maxx Arguilla has been honored with the prestigious Rose Hills Foundation Innovator Award for the 2024–2025 academic year. This award recognizes early-career faculty at UC Irvine who demonstrate exceptional promise and innovation in their research endeavors.

The Rose Hills Innovator Grant Program supports junior faculty in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), providing funding to develop highly innovative research programs. The grant offers up to $50,000 to support various aspects of research, including postdoctoral and graduate researchers, faculty summer salary, publication expenses, research materials, and travel expenses.

Prof. Arguilla’s research focuses on the development of novel nanomaterials with applications in energy storage and conversion. This award will enable him to further advance his work and contribute to the scientific community’s understanding of these materials.
